Top 5 Medical Apps on iOS in Australia Q4 2021

In the fourth quarter of 2021, the top 5 medical apps on the iOS platform in Australia demonstrated notable trends in weekly downloads and active users. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into their performance.

Express Plus Medicare consistently led the pack with high weekly downloads, peaking at 116K in late September. However, downloads saw a decline towards the end of the year, reaching about 61K in the last week of December. Active users also decreased from 267K at the start of the quarter to approximately 89K by the end.

HotDoc maintained steady download numbers, starting at 22.7K in late September and fluctuating slightly to end at around 15K in December. The active user base remained relatively stable, ranging from 79.7K to 75.7K throughout the quarter.

Check In CBR saw an increase in weekly downloads from 1.5K in late September to a peak of 11.9K by the end of December. Active users for this app also rose, starting at 49.4K and ending the quarter at nearly 70K.

SafeWA experienced modest download numbers, with a peak of 7.2K in the last week of December. The active user count remained fairly constant, starting at 84.5K and closing the quarter at approximately 86.3K.

MedAdvisor Medication Tracker had lower download figures compared to the other apps, starting at 2.1K in late September and ending at 1.3K in December. Its active user base, however, showed slight fluctuations, peaking at 21.9K in late November and ending the quarter at around 20.7K.
